Community Profile

The City of Bayswater is home to over 67,000 people and has seen a population increase of 5.5% from the 2011 to 2016 Census. The City currently has a relatively large cohort of people between the ages of 20 and 40 with more than a third of the residents falling within this age category. Our community is also very diverse, both culturally and demographically.

Known as the "Garden City" it is responsible for 10km of picturesque Swan River foreshore, many beautiful parks and conservation areas, and home to an abundance of bird and other wildlife. The City has diverse, thriving and attractive residential and business areas, all within easy reach of the Perth central business district.
